Tesco has launched a new cinema perk for Clubcard members. Movie buffs are now enjoying discounted films, thanks to Tesco.
The scheme, “Tesco Tuesdays”, offers the Clubcard members the chance to watch the latest blockbusters for only 2.50 pounds in Clubcard vouchers, or for 5 pounds in cash, each Tuesday.
The supermarket giant has collaborated with Cineworld to launch “Tesco Tuesdays”, enabling members to purchase four standard 2D tickets every Tuesday. This new initiative is perfect for families or groups of friends who are eager to catch the latest blockbusters at a cheaper price.
To grab the discounted movie tickets, shoppers can simply visit the Tesco app or Clubcard website and swap a minimum of 50p worth of vouchers for a Cineworld reward code.
Viewers can head to Cineworld’s website and look for the Tesco Tuesday options in the ticket section drop-down menu, and finally, pop in the code.
It is important to remember that this offering is only available for the movies showing on Tuesdays; it is not available for any mid-day or weekend screening.
It is good news for the 24 million UK households who have signed up for the loyalty scheme. Clubcard members can keep track of all their Clubcard Reward Partner deals through the Tesco app.
Shama Wilson, Tesco Group Membership and Loyalty Director, said that Tuesday night can now be movie night every week for Tesco Clubcard members. Furthermore, he added that whether you want to watch a spooky horror film in the run-up to Halloween or the big Christmas blockbuster, you can snap up a ticket at Cineworld for just £ 2.50 in Clubcard vouchers.
Grainne Clarke, Head of Corporate Sales and Partnerships at Cineworld, stated that Tesco Tuesdays is the next step in their ongoing partnership with Tesco Clubcard. He added that over the past few years, they have worked closely together to strengthen the collaboration and are looking for new ways to reward loyalty on both sides.
